About Code 3 Concepts LLC
Our Mission
At Code 3 Concepts LLC, our mission is to provide exceptional training to allow Illinois Police Officers to do their job safely, effectively, and legally. Code 3 Concepts LLC's owner is a retired Police Officer and graduate of DePaul University College of Law.
After delivering use of force training to a regional crowd control team, Code 3 Concepts LLC was born. In our first 12 months we trained over 200 officers in use of force. We seek to help officers understand what should guide use of force decisions and how they can make decisions that avoid or minimize use of force. We have identified a strong desire for practical, accessible, yet in depth training on the legal principles that guide law enforcement in Illinois. Read about our signature use of force course.
We also train to prepare officers and command staff on best practices and the reality when responding to an officer involved death.
